A Linux box you ssh into. An Ubuntu-derived machine with sudo and apt, its own kernel and disk, reachable by name.
Run production on it. Machines that stay up, tell you before a disk fills, and answer at an address with a certificate.
Your development box. One machine you keep, reached from your terminal, from VS Code, or from the apps.
